I looked everywhere for good reviews and photos of any tour in the amazon, until I came across this. Grethel was great from when we made contact to the moment we arrived! Everything ran smoothly from; flights, boat trips, tours, food and accommodation.
It was refreshing switching off from the world. The ecolodge had plenty of entertainment (bar & happy hour, snooker, darts, food, pool, hammocks with an amazing view looking out at Madre de dios river) with out the internet or service. Our lodge was very clean and had electricity all night. Our guide Eber was lovely and a local to the jungle so we were in safe hands. The manager Marcio was always around and Victor helped me when I had a little accident (thanks if you see this).
The tours included visiting lakes, canopy decks, canoeing, feeding monkeys and seeing the milky way in pure darkness and silence! All in all, if you like doing research hopefully this helps with your decision.
