Overview

The biggest concentration of wild Asian elephants in the entire world may be found in Sri Lanka’s Minneriya National Park, which is home to a wide variety of species. Nearly 31,000 hectares make up Minneriya National Park. Nearly 170 bird species and other animals are also found in the area. Jeep safaris are a popular way for visitors to go through the park, increasing their chances of seeing park animals in their natural habitat at twilight. There are a few parks instead of the Minneriya national park ( Hurulu eco park, Kaudulla national park) and we will guide you to find the best park to see elephants according to the weather conditions.

Very knowledgeable guide and great safari

We booked a Safari with Sudath. He is not only the boss but also the driver of the Jeep. So you are directly in touch with the person who will be with you during the safari. We've been to Hurulu Eco Park and we've been at first concerned about seeing a lot of Jeeps. But it was nothing to be worried about, Sudath took secret dirt tracks into the bush and away from the crowd. Therefore, we've had the chance to have beautiful herd of elephants only for us! It was so beautiful and so quiet! I'm very happy that we booked the safari with him

Perfect Morning Tour in the park

Absolutly amazing safari!! Did one in africa once that couldnt come close to this experience! Everything feels very natural and we came incredibly close to the elephants while still having a respectful way. Absolutly stunning experience that I cant recommend highly enough!! The guide was an absolute pro very informed and he had a very good eye for elephants and other animals in the park.

The driver was punctual and very friendly. He didn't chase the animals like some of his other colleagues. He also made sure we had enough photo opportunities. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome elephant safari

The excitement started building up even before we actually started the safari because on our way to the national park, we saw at least 3 wild elephants casually walking along side the road . At the park, we saw several herds of elephants , some chameleons, a turtle and a peacock . The driver and the guide knew where to take us and we were fortunate to see so many elephants up close . Wonderful experience and highly recommended
