Walk along the main street, visit the main square, and see a historic church. At a nearby cacao museum, learn how the ancient Maya people used cacao beans, and see the preparation of cacao into natural chocolate. Before returning to your Cancun hotel, enjoy a final stop at a traditional Yucatan hacienda; the former house of rich conquistadors and their slaves.

Clear filterGood experience for Uxmal, Merida and Cacao plant

Our guide Arturo was informative and knowledgeable about all the sightseeing points. He told us about some Mexican cultures. Although the car journey was long, it was worth for visiting Uxmal and Merida. You do not need to spend a few days there. Just one day is enough. It was good to be a private tour, the guide take care of all you need.

It was a tough trip due to the car time but it is worth the archeological place is huge and spectacular! I do not think you need a night in Merida. Note: we travel with a 3 Years old kid and he loves the Cacao place where apart from Drink pure cacao you can also feed some monkeys adn see jaguars and ccrocodiles :)

This was one of thee best excursions I have ever had. We were able to climb and touch portions of the site. The guide did an excellent job of informing us of each structure and the role that each one played in the Mayan lifestyle. Showed amazing hospitality of what Mexico has to offer definitely don’t miss out
