Bookings are essential if you'd like to attend a Papal Audience with Pope Francis I at the Vatican. Tickets are free of charge but they are limited and you must have a confirmed reservation to attend. Book ahead and you won't waste precious vacation time whilst in Rome.     St Peter's Square will astound you with its large plaza located in front of the St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City, the Architect Gian Lorenzo BERNINI redesigned this Basilica from 1656 to 1667 under the direction of Pope Alexander VII.

Was doubting this activity because of some of the reviews but it became the best moment of my Europe trip. Well organised. We were shown the best seats to sit on and Pope Francis passed right in front of us less than a meter away. Once in a lifetime opportunity for us catholics. Am very happy , will do it again next time
