Overview

This unique combo allows travelers to do two "must do" tours that is highly recommended by other travelers. This fusion of Bamboo Rafting down the Martha Brae river, coupled with the a pontoon boat ride out into the sunset, then when it is dark enough go, swimming in the mystical Luminous Lagoon. This is a perfect evening of relaxation and experiencing a unique phenomenon.

Itinerary

  • Martha Brae River

    Travelers will embark on a 1 hour calm tranquil ride down the Martha Brae River on a hand crafted bamboo raft. The raft captain will keep the travelers entertained by telling them the history of the Martha Brae river and pointing out different plants and trees. Travelers will also get to drink a refreshing coconut water straight from the coconut itself.

  • Luminous Lagoon Martha Brea River SUP

    Travelers will experience the rear phenomenon of the glowing water, found only 4 places in the world. Once travelers arrive, they will be greeted by a member of the Luminous Lagoon team and offered a complimentary drink. Travelers will take a 5 minutes boat ride out into the lagoon while the guide explains the phenomenon, once the captain finds a suitable spot he will anchor the boat so that the travelers can jump in and swim around for about 20 minutes. Travelers will return to the vessel and be transported back shore.

Very relaxing trip

If you want to experience some peace, relaxation, calmness, and some tranquil moments, you must book this excursion as one to do whilst you're in Jamaica. Capture the time you're there with lots of photos & videos. Your guide will tell you about the history which was very interesting. Unfortunately, just as we were leaving Martha Brae, we saw a bad motorbike and car crash. We hope the man will recover but we know his motorbike won't! Crazy driving out here in Jamaica. Ideal excursion for all. 5*****

Wonderful experience. Our driver, Scott was the absolute best! We had time to kill between the Martha Brae River and Luminous Lagoon and he took us to the city he was from and gave us a wonderful tour and history lesson.
