    The Plaza de Isabel II occupies part of the site where the old Caños del Peral theater stood between 1738 and 1817. Our guide will be waiting for you here, and from this point, the tour will start. On the way to the Royal Palace, you will be able to pass through several important sites of the city of Madrid.

Carlos our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and fun, would definitely recommend. My only complaint was that it was too short! Could have done with an extra half an hour to soak it all up!

This Palace is one of the most impressive to visit and we went to Versailles and Buckingham for exemple, and the Madrid Royal Palace was the most impressive for us, by its size, the decorum, the chandeliers….a visit not to miss!

We meet our lovely guide Carlos at the designated meet point. He introduced himself and explained where we were going the security involved and what we could expect to see. Carlos was very friendly and professional, he made some jokes but also we were very impressed with his knowledge of Spanish art, clearly his passion. We went through the rooms all just as magnificent as you could imagine of a royal palace. One thing we would have completely missed was the music room which has The Royal Quartet of Stratavarus instruments, thank you Carlos for pointing these out. Carlos also recommended putting coats, bags etc into a big locker which was a great idea which saved us carrying items around. Great trip highly recommend Carlos.
