Overview

Visit wild kangaroos and search for koalas in their natural habitat. Walk behind the base of multiple waterfalls, (free swimming at the base can be possible) and explore others from lookouts throughout Springbrook National Park Visit 2 UNESCO heritage locations including Natural Bridge. A homecooked meal is provided at the top of one of the many beautiful waterfalls that we will visit. This experience is great for anyone that wants to witness the beauty of nature with an adventure surrounded by waterfalls and ancient flora of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. Explore subtropical, warm & cool temperate rainforest types and a experience a diversity of natural vegetation. The area with kangaroos & koalas is not a zoo, but a conserved piece of land for the animals to live happily in their natural environment.

Enjoyable rainforest hike, kangaroos and koalas

Thoroughly enjoyed our day. We only had a total of 4 in our group along with Peter our guide. The tour certainly met our expectations and the hike to the waterfalls and lookout points was great. Peter was very knowledgeable about the area and the local fauna and flora. We really enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary. Unlike a zoo, the animals were roaming free in within the area and we were able to see lots of kangaroos, wallabies, and pademelons. Peter was able to find several koalas in the treetops which we would never have been able to spot on our own. I would highly recommend this tour if you like to hike and enjoy an active day.

Amazing tour with an amazing guide

Peter is a very knowledgeable and experienced guide with a great sense of humour. The rainforest hikes were perfectly paced for our group of 6. Very educational with lots of explanations of notable things to see. We were fortunate to see Kangaroos and Kualas up close. Peter was fantastic, I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in experiencing the rainforest in the Gold Coast.

An amazing tour! Peter is a very knowledgeable and super friendly tour guide. He took us through Springbrook National Park to see waterfalls and stunning look outs. We ended the tour with kangaroos and koalas. We were a small group and never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this tour! Thank you Peter for such a great day.

Wonderful tour!! We got to see many gorgeous waterfalls and got super close to wild kangaroos and saw 2 koalas in the wild! Peter is a phenomenal tour guide, very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about that animals, plants, and waterfalls that we saw on our tour. Wear good shoes as there is a good bit of walking to get to some of the waterfalls but so worth it! Many great photo spots and peter is a great photographer. Had a wonderful picnic lunch

This was a great excursion! Peter our guide was very knowledgeable, was great at explaining and had great energy! You get gorgeous views and some nice hiking too! I highly recommend this tour!
