Overview

Enjoy a full-day Jeep Safari tour to the Taurus Mountains in Side and experience the Turkish countryside. This excursion is all about having fun and relaxing. a day off the beaten track safari to some of Turkey’s unspoilt villages and a day The chance to explore on land and offshore all in the same day. Zooming through the countryside in a 4x4 on off-road tracks, the authentic Turkey will unfold as you leave the busy resorts of the coast behind and discover villages, such as , where life goes on at a much more tranquil pace. The ruins of ancient Cadianda also come into view.

Itinerary

  • Seleukia (Lybre)

    First stop will be near Roman Aquaducts for taking photo and short information and drive to Seleukia Ancient City. There will be short informationan and you will visit an old village house. And then taste Turkish traditional food 'Gözleme'.

    We will stop at Oymapınar Dam about 15-30 minutes to take pictures of Green Canyon and Green Lake. And then drive to Green Lake for Lunch. We will have delicious lunch near Green Lake and then we have time to swim here.

    We will visit an old village mosque, and brifing about Islam region.

It was so well organised. We got picked up at time and got back at time. It went all like planned. It was really amazing! The driver was advanced with the jeep. The places we visited were beautiful. The tour guides were very friendly and cared much for us! I felt special, thank you! Would book this trip again.

Incredible value for money. Great day out, the jeep drivers brought all their energy and we wouldn’t change anything. We took our 3 year old who was probably the youngest on the trip and he loved it. He sat with us in the back and as long as one of us was sat down with him it felt safe enough with all the off roading! Great tour guides, got to explore the mountains and get out of town. Would really recommend it! The boat trip costs extra but it’s only €10 and much cheaper than doing a full day trip which explores much of the same area. Drinks are reasonable priced on all the stop so you don’t need to bring anything with you. You get wet, dusty and muddy (if it’s rained recently) so dress appropriately, including footwear.
