Iquitos day adventure

We had a great day on the Iquitos city tour, our guide Miguel was informative, very friendly and spoke excellent English, we visited various attractions and learned a lot about the amazon, the wildlife and iquitos

I enjoyed a city tour a lot. The guide Miguel was very professional and helpful. Tour through the market was amazing. I have never seen such a big market where you can find everything.

Miguel was my tour guide for the day and he was such a fun guy. It wasn’t like a guide giving me a tour. It was more like my buddy taking me around time. We had so much fun and laugh together throughout the entire tour. It starts with a little tour of the down town area where your guide gives you some historical knowledge about the surrounding building. Then the famous Belen market where you probably wouldn’t want to go by yourself. The highlight for me was the wooden rowboat Lower Belen tour. You’d definitely not go there by yourself but it’s a place to see. The lives these people live… We rode tuktuks to the rescue center where they hold rescued jungle animals, and the zoo where you’ll see jaguars and bunch of other jungle animals. I had only one day in the city and this was so worth it.

Highly recommended, you can see a lot in one day for good value. Good mix of walking, motorbike and boat transport. Jhonny is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He likes to get to know you and make sure you are having a good time , is flexible in the itinerary and doesn't take you anywhere that tries to push you into purchasing anything.
