Mt Wellington is the landmark of Hobart, where is definitely the place in awe. Standing on the top of the mountain, the view that surrounds you is amazing. You can see the whole city of Hobart, the Derwent River and beyond. In Richmond, you can see the oldest convict constructed sandstone bridge still in use in Australia and St. John’s Catholic Church, the oldest Catholic Church in Australia. Then heading to Oyster Farm and Cascade Brewery, you can buy and taste the fresh oyster and Australia beer. On Saturday, Salamanca Market is the best place for both tourists and locals. It is Tasmania's most visited tourist attractions and has won many awards for excellence. The last stop is Australia oldest casino--Wrest Point (Alternative option: Wharf Sightseeing)

    Richmond is one of Tasmania's most popular destinations, steeped in history, family-friendly and a hub for food and wine lovers. Nestled in the heart of the Coal River Valley, Richmond was established as an important military staging post and convict station linking Hobart with Port Arthur. The village is famous for its elegant Georgian architecture, with beautiful heritage buildings dating back as early as the 1820's now housing galleries, tea shops, craft boutiques and museums.

This was a great tour they were amazing about customizing it for us including around our time constraints and last minute preferences! Our guide, Evan, was terrific and even got in an extra thing when we had a little time!

Tasmanian Adventure

Michael with Tas tours was professional as well as personable. From our first airport pickup to our final airport drop off, he provided a sounding board for our Tasmanian adventure. His restaurant recommendations as well as his tour recommendations were enjoyable. When we asked for a variance in our itinerary, he complied with efficiency and grace. I would recommend his services as a driver as well as the services of of Tasmania Coachlines.

Great day in Hobart and Richmond

Gary was our driver and guide and he did a phenomenal job! He adjusted for a late departure due to our arrival time on the ship. We gave him a hefty agenda and asked him to use his professional judgement in arranging the day and we got it all in and back to the cruiseboat on time in spite of a car crash we encountered along the way. We spent time at the Cascade brewery, Mt Wellington Summit, enjoyed Richmond square, bridge, and church, and Bonorong wildlife park. We had just the right amount of time at each location and didn't feel rushed.

An amazing 1 day trip in Ho art

The driver Garry is very flexible. He drove us to a restaurant for Tasmania oyster and the cherry farm at our request on the day.
