Overview

Story telling with a local guide: A unique outdoor experience learning the historical highlights of Los Cabos and the Californian peninsula. This tour is part of a community project. This tour is part A of a 2 part Tour. In this 1.5 hour sightseeing tour (1 mile, wheelchair and stroller friendly), we will walk and learn about the history, culture and legends such as the peninsula`s geology, how the natives lived, how colonization took place, about thieves, the San Jose del Cabo mission church. Part B for another day we cover the battle at the main square, hotels, famous celebrities and more. Starting on Álvaro Obregón Street in heart of the Art District (downtown San José del Cabo). Reservation required. Group size: There are 15 spots max available on this experience.You don’t have to fill all of them. Experiences are meant to be social, so other travelers could join too. We require at least 2 people to boon to run this tour. If you have trouble booking just give us a call.

This was a great tour! I learned a lot about the area in a short amount of time. I really appreciated the enthusiasm that Kristian has for the area and the local people. The mission of their tours is fantastic!

The real San Jose del Cabo!

This tour was wonderful! When you think of Cabo, it's all beaches and partying, but the area has a very interesting and important history that more tourists would do well to take the time to learn about. Kristian was very personable and has a lot of knowledge about the area. The tour gave me such a different perspective of SJD and Los Cabos as a real place with a culture all its own and not just a fancy resort town. I highly, highly recommend going on this tour!

Wonderful tour of SJD, with many interesting, historical facts. Christian is an excellent guide and keeps the tour enjoyable and educational. Highly recommend taking the 6PM tour and following up with dinner in town.
