Overview

The most exclusive private boat trip in Heidelberg, up to 12 guests per boat! Company event - sightseeing tour - birthday party - bachelor party - weddings - company outing - team building The tour leads you, starting from the Kongresshaus, past the Neckarstaden and the Marstall upstream through the Alte Brücke towards Neckarmünzplatz. En route, you will have a stunning, clear view of the castle, the Old Bridge, the funicular railway and the Hackteufel. On the way down the river, we will drive on the Neuenheimer side past villas steeped in history and famous filming locations such as the “Hotel Heidelberg”. We also cover the more urban side of Heidelberg on our tour, as we glide downstream along the green meadow of the Neuenheimer Neckarwiese in the direction of the Ernst Walz Bridge. This is where skaters, graffiti artists and the young people of Heidelberg meet. During our tour, we will also see Heidelberg’s very own Love Island, the small island in the middle of the Neckar River, up close. We will then pass the thermal bath, the headquarters of Heidelberg Materials (formerly Heidelberg Cement), historic hospital buildings, the Kurfürst-Friedrich-Gymnasium and enjoy a clear view of many other places worth seeing from the water!

A great experience with friends or business contacts!

Had the opportunity to experience a great boat tour with Riverboat with friends on my birthday as well as an exclusive boat ride with the company as a part of a business get-together. Both times, the experience was outstanding and left nothing to be desired. Great snacks, great wine, unique sights, unforgettable vibes and one of the absolutely best things to do in Heidelberg! Perfect for partying on board in a group of close friends or for networking in a group in a business setting. Highly recommended and cannot wait to be back soon

Incredible way to avoid the crowds and get a relaxing and comfortable way to view the castle and sites of Heidelberg. Despite the drizzle at the end of the tour, we had a great time casually cruising the Neckar River. This hour and half ride takes you through the heart of Heidelberg on a classic old wooden boat that was safe and comfortable. The pickup and drop off location also was in the center of the shopping district and we had a scrumptious meal after our journey up and down the river.
