Time Well Spent

We had a great time with our driver Andreas! It was a fairly long trek through the surrounding areas of San Jose, but the volcano itself was breathtaking. It was even emitting some nasty airs that had the mid-level alarm light blinking. All that for one low, low price! Take the trip, engage the driver, see the sights, and stop for delicious strawberries along the way.

Easy walk, with great view once you arrive. Hard hats and eruption shelters provided a touch of reality, but I would recommend this experience if you have time. However, we spent 1.5 hours in the am picking up passengers at hotels around the city.
