Overview

Discover the fantastic history of Crystal from Egyptian times to the present day in Blumenau, a city that has been manufacturing the product since 1952. Follow the entire Crystal manufacturing process, from mixing the raw materials, the magnificent crystal blowing process, passing through the brilliant phase of cutting and polishing the pieces. The guided tour of the factory will provide you with an immersion in the world of Crystal and will give you a different perspective on genuinely handcrafted pieces. Opening hours and visits DURING THE WEEK, with all processes: From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Visitation without the casting process: From 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. *Visitation without the casting process occurs due to unavailability of shifts, which in the case of crystal blowing, occurs between 5:00 am and 1:00 pm. Hours and visits on the WEEKEND: There is no casting process on weekends, with only a guided tour of the factory and museum.

  • Mozart Crystal - Museu do Cristal de Blumenau

    An interactive and immersive tourist experience through all the stages of manufacturing the most awarded crystal in Brazil, with Frederico Strauss as the technician in charge, who brings a family legacy of 70 years in the crystal market. The Circuit includes a tour of all production stages, such as mixing, casting, scratching, lapping, polishing, quality and packaging. On this tour, you will understand how the Mozart Crystal is made and at the end you will receive a souvenir of the visit, a glass of Mozart Crystal personalized with the logo of the Crystal Museum of Blumenau.

Wonderful overview of the history and process of an ancient art form.

We enjoyed a wonderful tour by Gabriel who is the owner of Mozart Crystal. The tour included details of the history of Crystal as well as a visit to the factory where new pieces were in progress. Probably the best factory tour I've ever had. If you appreciate beautiful crystal you will love this tour.

Great 1hr tour close to center of Blumenau. Seeing the entire process of making and carving crystal - all artisanal!

Very good experience! Our guide did the tour in English for my family, will don't speak Portuguese and responded all the questions. The info grafics are also available in english. One of the workers also spoke German and he explained the production process in even more detail. Highly recommend, even if you're not speaking Portuguese.
