    Weoljeong Bridge, also known as Woljeonggyo or Woljeong Bridge, is a historic stone bridge. It holds significant cultural and architectural importance as one of the oldest surviving bridges in the country, dating back to the ancient Silla Kingdom, which ruled the Korean Peninsula from 57 BC to 935 AD. The bridge was originally built during the reign of King Chinhung of Silla in the 7th century. Its construction was part of the ambitious project to connect the capital city of Gyeongju to Wolseong, the royal palace complex located on the eastern side of the city. As one of the primary routes, Weoljeong Bridge served as a vital link for the Silla royals and officials to cross the waterway and reach the palace.

I was the only person on this tour with a driver who didn't speak any English. And we had a great time! He was so welcoming and chatted with me through his translation app, he had a lot of history knowledge and even gave me a list of things to see after the tour. Recommended!

We had a fantastic time in Geyongju thanks to our great guide. It was so easy to communicate via translation app and he always had some great insights about the different tour spots. Our highlight was the Seokgurum Grotte. We definitely recommend booking this tour.
