Overview

From Greenock we will take you to the great city of Edinburgh where there is so much to discover. We will pass through Arthur’s seat, a prominent landmark on the Edinburgh horizon. From there a quick visit to Holyrood Palace. From this great Palace, we head to Calton Hill, where we will have amazing views . Our tour guide will take you on a journey through Edinburgh’s impressive architecture which blends the medieval Old Town with the splendour of the Georgian New Town. To give you an idea without spoiling too much all the information the tour guide will provide these are some of the landmarks we will visit: - Greyfriars cemetery - Dean Village - Princes Street - St. Giles - Cathedral Edinburgh castle - The Royal Mile PLEASE NOTE: WALKING INVOLVED MISSING YOU ALREADY!!

    We head to Calton Hill, a prominent hill with neoclassical monuments where we will have amazing views of the city skyline and Edinburgh castle.

    Edinburgh castle, one of the oldest fortified places in Europe. With a long rich history as a royal residence, military garrison, prison and fortress. Listen to the mysterious legends your tour guide will tell you which are not to be missed.

Perfect day in Edinburgh From Greenock Cruise Port.

Both our driver and tour guide went above and beyond a typical tour of Edinburgh and are very deserving of a FIVE STAR rating. Our goal was to visit Edinburgh from Greenock to enable us to actually spend our Edinburgh day at St Andrews for the golfers in our groups. Worked perfectly & was the most economical way to accomplish this! We are a group of six (fun loving) active seniors. One member of our group has foot issues which could have meant a very limited tour, although not for this duo. We saw as much of the city as our time constraint would allow. We were picked up at the pier for “Greenock to Edinburgh Private City Tour”. During the planning I worked with Pilar at Viator coordinating our tour itinerary who is exceptional!
