With a host of wonderful delis and restaurants that take Coeliac very seriously, you will not only manage, you’ll have your fill of some of the tastiest food in Rome.

    Meet your guide at Piazza Mattei in front of the Turtles Fountain and start this 4-hour guided food, wine, and sightseeing tour in the heart of Rome.

  • The Portico Of Octavia

    While you walk through the streets of the Jewish Ghetto and learn about its history and facts taste the best local specialty made by locals since many generations, the delicious Roman Style Artichokes.

    This neighborhood is famous for its vibrant nightlife and trattorias. Here you will savor the best gluten-free pizza in town! While we walk through the streets of Rome’s most traditional and picturesque districts, we will also stop at a traditional roman winery from 1946 to savor the finest cuts of cured meat and different kinds of Italian cheese all paired with great local wine. A rich dinner will be served among the ruins of the most ancient roman theater, the site of the assassination of Julius Caesar. Here you will indulge traditional roman main courses (all gluten-free) accompanied with wine. A wide assortment of foods and wines produced locally for exceptional flavor and a memorable experience. This food and wine tour not only gives you a taste of Rome's traditional cuisine, but will also provide an introduction to Rome's rich cultural history.

Great GF food with a history tour

We had a fantastic time on this tour! Andrea was an excellent guide, giving us great information about the city and its history while introducing us to some of Rome’s delicious gluten-free options (including the best pizza — gluten-free or not) that we’ve had in Italy yet! So good we went back again the next day. They also accommodated one vegetarian and even took us to a Gelateria where sugar-free gelato was available. Tour was also interesting and tasty for the 11-year old in our group.

We had such a fun night and visited places we would not have found without our guide. Andrea was fantastic and gave us an interesting and fun tour. The food was the best we have eaten in Italy, such a pleasure to have beautiful gluten free dishes. Highly recommend!
