Overview

If you have only one day, it is the most interesting tour by covering important sites like Golkonda Fort, Qutb Shahi tombs, Chowmahallah Palace, Charminar and Mecca Mosque and Lad Bazar Street. We cover the monuments ranging from 16th to early part of 20th Century with mesmerizing culture and tradition of people . You can also taste the local Biriyani of Hyderabad in one of the popular restaurants. Hyderabad has a history of trade in precious gems and its role in the pearl trade has given it the name, "City of Pearls". You will be with expert local Tour Guides of Hyderabad with Professional Tour Guide License to enter and to explain in all the monuments. Entrance Fee, Guide Fee, A/c Car with Pick and Drop from the hotel, lunch and refreshments are included. Chowmahallah Palace will be closed on Friday. So, if you book this tour on Friday, one another place will be covered in the place of Chowmahallah Palace.

    We see the 12th Century Fort of Hindu Kings which was later replaced by Qutb Shahi Kings with beautiful Indo Sarascenic Architecture. We scale 360 steps up to the top of the hill to have a panoramic view of the surroundings. We visit 16th Century ruins of fortifications, Gates, ruined palaces, administrative buildings, barracks, water tanks, temples, mosques etc.

    We visit the necropolis of Qutb Shahi Kings of 16th and 17th Centuries with beautiful Indo Sarascenic Architecture and Persian glazed tiles with their courtesans, Royal Physicians and Family members and also the beauful mosques and cisterns.

  • Chowmahalla Palace

    This is an 18th Century palace of Nizam's of Hyderabad with beautiful mixed architecture with Coronation and meetings halls, galleries, administrative buildings, residential palaces, arms, porcelain, vintage cars and textiles of personal use by the rulers.

  • Charminar

    This is a most visited memorial monument of Qutb Shahi period from the end of 16th century located in the middle of four roads and surrounded by busy local life of Hyderabadi people, thriving bazaars of bangles and ladies ware and mosques and many heritage structures.

    This is a 17th Century living mosque built by Qutb Shahi Sultans of Golkonda Kingdom in their signature architecture style where Asaf Jahi Sultans and their family members buried towards South East Corner. This mosque is one of the biggest mosques in India with beautiful chandeliers.

Great itinerary with an exceptional guide Naga. Driver and guide very punctual. Well packaged day tour.

First time in India!

It was our first time in India. Naga was on time and a very knowledgeable guide. There were 4 of us and they provided a 6-seater private car. We certainly enjoyed the full day tour with him! We manage to visit Mecca Masjid, Quth Shahi tombs, Golconda Fort, Chowmahalla palace and Birla Mandir temple in a day. He was able to answer all our questions regarding Hyderabad. We booked through Viator and got the confirmation email the next day. I would definitely recommend getting a guide to hit all the attractions because the city is hard to get around without a car. Having a private guide makes it a lot easier.

This was an excellent tour. Very informative, attention to detail and the guide was excellent. Naga was the tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and provided relevant facts along the entire tour. This tour provides a great overview of the entire Hyderabad if you have a short amount of time in the city.
