Depart from Central Melbourne and get ready to explore the Yarra Valley wine region. Create your own schedule and then sit back and relax without having to worry about transportation during the day. Explore the very best of the region and its natural beauty as you taste some of the very best food, wine, gin, beer, and local produce in the country. Please refer to the map in the image gallery to view both routes. A copy of the timetable will be sent to you via email. Please note that some venues require bookings and have also implemented paid tastings (regardless of group size and whether you are driving yourself or with a tour operator). As a hop on hop off service you will be responsible for booking your tastings but do not worry our venue guide and helpful staff are here to give you lots of recommendations if you are not sure where to hop!

A brilliant way to do wine tasting in the Yarra Valley.

Just back from a fantastic day hopping on and off round the Yarra Valley. Jon was a brilliant host/driver - and did an amazing job at providing information, entertainment, and managing an increasingly pickled group! This must be the best way to do wine tasting and the model should be replicated across all wine regions! Thanks so much - we loved it.

The Hop-It experience was FANTASTIC! Sara gave us great advice about exactly which wineries to hit, made the logistics work beautifully, and paced it just right. Would highly recommend over a big-group *or* even a fully-private tour.

Can not say enough about how fantastic this service is. You have the choice of the winery you wish to visit from a large list and have time to spend there, sampling the wine and the food. Sarah is the most wonderful host, friendly, funny and very helpful and knowledgeable. You also see the wonderful Yarra Valley. Highly recommend Hop It for anyone coming to Melbourne and wanting to visit the wineries.

My mother and I had a great time with Hop It. We are not big wine drinkers and wanted to just have an experience. Sara our driver recommended the most terrific options that's customized to our need with something boutique, something with history and something grand in scale. Every other groups on the van has a different agenda but all fitted together nicely. The van is clean and comfortable, the group size is just nice, and the tour planning is super efficient.

And yet another fantastic experience with Hop It! We tried a new route - the Green Route this time. Jon made the tasting bookings a breeze, and our driver, (bi)Ceps, was so helpful on the day. We loved discovering some smaller, hidden wineries that were new to us. A perfect, hassle-free way to enjoy local wines—highly recommend!
