An excellent tour and an excellent tour guide

Took a golf cart tour of the city of Florence. We were the only two people on the tour. Tour guide was Charlie from Poland. An experienced tour guide who supplemented the audio tour with his own comments. Charlie was a warm comedian who spoke very good English. He apologized and complained about the rough roads. We really experienced the guts of the city. An excellent tour, an excellent tour guide.

Our driver/guide, Milan, could not have been nicer and more accommodating . It was a very rainy day in Florence and he handled all of the issues involved with that with humor and grace. He still manage to show us the sights and provide us with some history along the way.

Golf Cart tour with Giovanni

Wonderful! I had only 1.5 days to enjoy Florence. After doing all the must-see sights and walking tours on the first day, I decided to do a golf cart tour on the morning of my departure. I was not quite sure what to expect but I ended up the only passenger and it was quite a treat! In addition to driving me around the parts of the city that I had missed (eg Piazza Santa Croce), Giovanni took me south of the river where I got to enjoy the beautiful view from Piazzale michelangelo, the cimitero delle porte sante & nearby church, and other sights. It was a 1.5-hour tour, but ended up almost 2 hours - I lucked out! Highly recommend.

Our tour guide, Uva, made our ride excellent. In the high heat of Florence presently, touring in a golf cart gave us comfortable views of major attractions. 90 mins offers a perfect timing to understand what to visit after the tour.
