Overview

We will travel to a magical town located in the Northwest of the Salta Calchaquí Valleys, surrounded by imposing mountains, snowy, plateaus and colonial architecture that will take us back to the past. We ascend the Quebrada de Escoipe and continue along the imposing Cuesta del Obispo and the Enchanted Valley, surrounded by mountains. After visiting La Piedra del Molino (3,400 meters above sea level) you will be passing through Los Cardones National Park. The small and magical town of Cachi, located at the foot of the snowy town of the same name (6,320 meters above sea level), is characterized by its colonial-style facades, with houses located on the edge of narrow, cobbled streets. La Cuesta del Obispo, La Piedra del Molino (3348 masl), Recta del Tin Tin (11 km road built by the Incas), Los Cardones National Park (only high altitude National Park in Argentina), Nevados de Cachi sighting (6,380 masl) and 2 hours free in the village of Cachí.

Beautiful day trip with stunning landscapes.

This day trip was great. The dramatic landscapes and views from the bus were awesome and all the stop off points for views were beautiful. Cachi is a beautiful, quaint little village and it was lovely to enjoy the local food and wander around the square and streets looking at all the artesian stalls and shops. I just wish I had brought more cash! Sole was very informative and funny, she is very good at her job. Raul was a fantastic driver, some of the roads were a little scary at times, hairpins turns and mountains roads, but he was excellent and we always felt safe.
