Etna Morning Tour is the best ETNA tour to visit the volcano in a short time but in a complete way and discover its fascinating natural landscapes.
This Etna excursion departing from Catania and surrounding areas, you will have the opportunity to visit the highest and most active volcano in Europe.
From the meeting place, defined at the time of booking the tour, you will leave with our vehicles (or with your own car) for a unique experience. Together with our naturalist guides you will begin to know one of the symbols of this wonderful land.
You will be able to admire a varied landscapes and, thanks to the comprehensive explanations of our guides, who are always up to date and available to answer your questions and satisfy your curiosity, you will learn about the biodiversity of the environment that distinguishes these unique places.
The tour will head to the nearby Silvestri Craters where you can enjoy the wonderful view of lunar landscapes characterized by black dunes and expanses of solidified lava. The guide will provide you with scientific explanations of the volcanological phenomena that generated this authentic wonder of nature.

Continuing, you will visit the volcanic caldera of the Valle del Bove, this great arid and desert depression, almost completely lacking of vegetation but with a truly unique charm.

The Etna tour continues with the exploration of a spectacular lava cave. The guides will accompany you and you will be provided with the necessary equipment (helmet and torches) to be able to visit the volcanic cave in total safety.

Along the way you will be able to observe several lava flows including the one generated by the terrible eruption of 1991-93, the longest in the recent history of Etna.

Going down towards the valley, the tour will stop in the village of Zafferana Etnea. Here you will be accompanied to a certified farm welcoming you with a tasting of typical products: delicious honeys and fine wines produced with grapes grown in the vineyards of the Etna area.

We are a family of 6 with a 7 year old and 1 disable person. We did a private version of the morning tour. Our guides were Aristides and Daniela. They were both knowledgeable and shared many fun facts about Etna. We really felt their love towards Mt Etna! They were also very patient with our situation. My family enjoyed the tour a lot!

An amazing half day tour. Our guide Florinda was alot of fun and very knowledgeable about Mt Etna herself as well as the surrounding areas. She made the excursion very informative but also lots of fun. Seeing the craters, the lava cave and trip to local farm were all worthwhile. Highly recommend using a guide if you plan on seeing Mt.Etna.

We can fully recommend morning trip to Etna organized by this company. Added value is definately guiding by Simone who is very kind and knowledgable person with passion for his work related to Etna topic. Afterwards visit of local farm with tasting of their wines, olives, pesto and honey was also very nice.

The Etna Morning Tour was amazing and our guide Leonardo was passionate and knowledgeable. The drive to Etna was amazing and we took a different route back to Catania. Our guide was patient and helped us walking thru the cave as well as walking on the lava rock of Etna. It was amazing to see a guide who truly loves Etna as well as sharing her with guests. Great tour!!
