  • Melissani Cave

    Melissani Cave (or Lake, both are accepted) can be called an unreal place. Walk an underground path and discover the place of worship dedicated to Pan and Nympth Melissani. Myths mention that Melissani committed suicide and fell in the lake because Pan was not responding to her feelings for him. Step into a small boat and take a tour of the cave. *40 minutes driving time *60 minutes at Melissani Lake

  • Drogarati Cave

    A visit to Drogarati Cave will let you admire countless stalactites and stalagmites, formed 150 million years ago. The acoustic in the cave is fantastic, and it can host up to 500 people. For this reason many concerts are organized in this cave and we can mention 2 important artists, Pavarotti and Maria Callas.

  • Myrtos Beach

    We can’t end this trip before taking some amazing photos to Myrtos beach, the most famous in Kefalonia. *Photo stop from the top *No swim stop *20 minutes driving

    At some point we will see Omala Valley, the place where the most important Church of Kefalonia can be found. It is St. Gherasimos Monastery (the protect Saint of the island).

    A beautiful view of Sami, the port that is connecting Kefalonia and Ithaca- the homeland of Odysseus (Ulysses)

  • Ithaca (Pass By)

    When driving on the east side of Kefalonia, we will have in front of us the beautiful island of Ithaca.

  • Agia Kiriaki (Pass By)

    We will see this beautiful beach from the top too, situated on the West coast of Kefalonia, in Myrtos Bay.

    Panoramic view of the small village Agia Efimia, in our way from the East coast to the West coast of Kefalonia.

We booked and went on a brilliant bus tour today! We booked it yesterday in the office which was easy to do and super friendly, helpful staff. The bus picked us up near the cruise terminal, we are actually staying at the Kefalonia Grand Hotel but the walk down is a lovely chance to see all the fish, lovely shops and restaurants. We visited some really beautiful places on the tour, all hidden gems and places you'd probably miss out on without the tour! We had a brilliant tour guide called Gerasimos and a lovely driver called Chris! There was a mixture of Italian, English and French on the tour and he spoke in every language. Was very impressed. You are not rushed on the tour so get chance to see and enjoy everything and even get to sample a couple of local wines. Which was great as it's my husbands birthday! I really would highly recommend this company if you are visiting Argostoli. There are no negatives to write! We had the best day! Thank you for helping to make our holiday special.

We loved this tour! Great value, excellent tourguide. The amazing mountain views from the bus were an added bonus. Melissani Lake was a highlight of our trip, and the Myrtos Beach viewpoint was spectacular.

Melissani is absolutely fascinating. The Drogarati cave was also well worth the visit. Gerasimos is a great guide and provided us with a lot of interesting information during the trip. I learned a lot about the island, its history and culture, traditional food, the landscape and so on. I had a great time and enjoyed the trip very much!

Sea Dream Tours went above and beyond in making our day awesome! Due to a last-minute cancellation from someone else we ended up having a private tour with Simona (the main guide) and Zdenka (the social media manager/photographer). They were very flexible in ensuring the day was spent well - we went to Myrtos Beach and then the two caves followed by a delicious lunch. We learned so much about the island and the history behind the caves, plus getting to know two great people. Zdenka took us to great photo spots and took several photos and videos of us for our honeymoon, while Simona gave us great information on the island and history. It felt like driving around Kefalonia with two friends; we had a great day all due to their kindness, flexibility and professionalism.
