Overview

Start with our experienced crew from Lagos Marina and get a safety briefing before you set sail off the coast of the Algarve. Look for dolphins aboard a rigid inflatable boat in a small group of no more than 18 people for a more personalized experience. Our experienced crew will seek the cetaceans like the Common Dolphin (Delphinus delphis) and Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops Truncatus) and others. As we are talking about wild animals we can not guarantee the success of sighting. (Average sucess rate: 97%) In case of failure in the sighting of dolphins we do not refund.

Good trip, saw lots of dolphins! Took 45 minutes to see the dolphins but it was worth the wait. The boat was fast and comfortable.

Excellent trip where we saw loads of Dolphins and a Minke Whale. BlueFleet - reputable company, great service and really knowledgeable. Good value for money. The whole trip experience was brilliant. Will definitely be booking another BlueFleet trip when next in Lagos. One of the highlights of the holiday!

Absolutely amazing boat trip. The crew was friendly, funny and helpful, very engaging and did their very best to help finding the dolphins. We were delighted that we were lucky to see fair amount of dolphins, experience their playfulness and beauty. Tip for anyone else going on this trip - if possible, please cover yourself with sun cream and long sleeves if possible. The sun burn risk is very real - if it’s +33 and sunny, water reflects sun and it’s more intense. While on a boat you don’t feel how badly you can burn, but once you are back it might be too late. :)

It was great to have a fast ride on the RIB. The boat was very well handled, the crew were knowledgeable and the sighting of so many dolphins close up was amazing. Highly recommended.

Couldn’t fault anything about this trip. Booked directly through Tripadvisor (was same price, but easier as our hotel wanted part cash and part payment at Bluefleet reception - and I didn’t have cash). Email with booking info came straight through. Arrived at the meeting point (inside Lagos train station) with my 15 year old daughter, friendly greeting, was given a rain coat and then taken to the boat and given a life jacket. The hosts Kit and Marta were fabulous, super friendly and gave lots of useful info. Were warned we may not see dolphins, but 9 miles out and about 30 mins of travel, we found them. It was so lovely to see them swimming in their natural environment, I could have stayed watching for hours. After about 25 mins we then headed back. Bumpy ride but not uncomfortable (just fun). Was glad of the raincoat as we did get splashed and I was a touch cold from the wind. Really really enjoyed every minute, thank you.
