Overview

On this 8-hour private tour, you will have the opportunity to visit a number of New Delhi's most famous attractions. We visit the Humanyun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate, the Red Fort and Jama Mosque in Old Delhi. The highlight would be taking part in a special rickshaw tour of Old Delhi which includes street food tasting too. Feel and experience the India's rich culture and flavor.

  • Humayun's Tomb

    Humayun’s Tomb (1586) - a bright testament to the brilliant craftsmanship of the Mughal architect & their creativity.

  • Qutub Minar

    The Qutab Minar - 72 meters high and one of the most perfect towers in the Persian world. The Iron Pillar which has survived the vagaries of weather for over 1500 years.

  • India Gate

    Visit the war memorial build during the British rule in India. The monument commemorates Indian soldiers who fought for the British during in the World Wars.

  • Rashtrapati Bhavan (Pass By)

    Pass by the residence of the president of India. A quick photo stop would be possible

  • Parliament House (Pass By)

    Pass by the Parliament of India in which the upper and lower houses of the largest democracy in the world function. A quick photo stop is possible.

  • National War Memorial

    From India Gate, walk up to the National War Memorial that pays tribute to the soldiers who have sacrificed their life for the country.

    Short stop at Connaught Place, the heart, the soul, and main shopping district of the capital.

  • Red Fort

    We will visit the Red Fort in Old Delhi. The Red sandstone walls of this massive fort (also known as Lal Qila) rise 33-m above the clamor of Old Delhi - as a reminder of the magnificent power and pomp of the Mughal emperors.

  • Jama Masjid

    Witness one of the largest Mosques in India built during the Mughal rule. The Mosque closes to visitors just before sunset. Based on the time of our arrival, we could visit the place from inside.

  • Pasar Chandni Chowk

    We experience a rickshaw ride through the narrow backstreets, historical buildings, taste some mouthwatering street food and local specialties, as well as walk through the areas that have not been explored by regular tourists. Knowledgeable tour guide who brought me and my friends to explore the mystery of Taj Mahal. We were rushing for flight returning to home town and was thinking to skip the lunch but he made good suggestions of buying takeaway of roasted chicken and beef. Overall the trip was fun, safe and smooth.

Customised tour of Himalayan cities with Trinetra

I undertook a 14 day tour of Dharamshala, Shimla, Haridwar and Rishikesh designed in conjunction with Trinetra.
