Overview

The two brothers wine cellar is unique, we have created a tasting room totally dedicated to fun and original tasting experiences. Our desire: desacralize the very traditional approach to Bordeaux wines. This is why, for a moment, our wine cellar is yours. We have selected for you a tasting of 3 wines that we consider very representative of the terroirs and our beautiful wine region combined with a selection of Basque charcuterie and cheese from the prestigious Maison Oteiza. For more challenge, the last wine you will taste will be served "blind", fun but disturbing ! We are two brothers, who have always been passionate about wine, our family produce wine since 6 generations and we want to share with you our passion with simplicity and humour ! Itinerary

Come and discover the specificities and unique characteristics of Bordeaux wines through our selection of 3 typical wines of the left bank of Garonne river, right bank and the exceptional terroirs of Bordeaux. During this experience, your hosts, Pierre and Geoffroy, cellar men, but also brothers, will introduce you to the main characteristics of Bordeaux vineyard in a fun and accessible way. We will tell you the history of the vineyard and the art of tasting with simple words and explanations. We aim at showing how accessible wine tasting can be when you get told good tips. During this tasting you can also eat our selection of cheese and ham from beautiful Basque country. The history of Bordeaux wine and the art of tasting will have no more secret to you.

A great way to learn about Bordeaux wines

My wife, Lynn, and I had an absolutely enjoyable experience. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Geoffroy and taken upstairs to the tasting room. The set-up of the room was very comfortable. We soon began the event after the arrival of a few other guests; all of whom were friendly and interesting. Geoffroy did an amazing presentation about Bordeaux wines which was both entertaining and informative. We then tasted a few different wines and learned about all the aspects involved in understanding different wines. I would highly recommend this experience when you are in Bordeaux
