There is no written script on this day! Every stop will wow you more than the previous one.
You will be laughing and enjoying the ride in between every incredible site, you will see unique wildlife, and will also have time to explore on your own at every stop.
Our stops will include all the must-see places in Banff including Lake Louise and Moraine Lake (during summer), as well as a scenic drive through Kananaskis Provincial Park, and more!!
You'll be with an average group size of 8 to 12 adult guests in total. This is not a 16+ passenger bus, you'll have more opportunities to interact with your guide, asking questions and learning more about the local culture, history, and environment.

The scenic drive from Calgary to Canmore is a stunning journey that offers breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies and the natural beauty of Alberta.
Just a stone's throw from the highway, Kananaskis opens up a world of outdoor adventure. As we pass by this area, be on the lookout for wildlife!
Spotting deer, elk, and occasionally bears along the way is a common delight. The open meadows and dense forests serve as perfect habitats for these magnificent creatures.
We'll stop in Canmore, nestled in the Bow Valley, surrounded with spectacular views, on our way from or to Calgary for about 10-15 minutes for a quick stretch.

The trip offered excellent winter views of lake louise , lake minnewanka, two jack lake and bow falls. Lunch stop was at Banff with the opportunity to do some shopping. Murray was a funny and experienced tour guide and I was happy to spend the day with his tour.

This one-day roadie was the highlight of my visit to Canada. Gordon was an excellent guide and driver, taking us to many picturesque sites in Banff National Park. The van was comfortable, and we had more than enough time at each stop. Try the bison burger at Eddie’s in Banff.
Lake Louise is worth the trip by itself. Absolutely stunning.
Also, DO NOT EAT IN THE VAN. Even though Gordon reminded us of what we’d seen in the pretour email, a group with me did, and Gordon was too polite to say anything. Don’t do my boy dirty like that. There are adequate stops where you can snack outside the vehicle.

I had such an amazing day with Gordon exploring Banff and surroundings. Gordon was great, he would tell us fun facts, take photos for everyone and gave us more than enough time at each spot, as well as getting to know us all. It is such a wonderful experience, would 100% recommend to anyone, especially solo travellers!!!

Murray was our guide/driver... He was great, giving us interesting and fun facts and history while pointing out a lot of interesting things along the way. Each stop was the right amount of time to enjoy the spot. It was unusually cold this day so had to use scrapers on the inside of the rear windows early in the day. That just added to the setting and did not interfere with our enjoyment. Banff had been on my bucket list before I knew what a bucket list was. So glad to have gone with Banff Day Trips and I look forward to going again in warmer weather. The good thing about this day was that Banff was uncrowded and the ice/snow and frigid temperature gave each stop a magical and unforgettable setting.
