Overview

Experience an amazing camel safari in the Thar Desert while watching the sun set to complete your trip to Jodphur. You will also visit the famous  Sachiya Mata Temple and learn more about Indian culture on this tour.

Itinerary

  • Mehrangarh Fort (Pass By)

    You will be picked up at your hotel in Jodhpur, Jodhpur Airport, Railway Station or Bus Station at 2 :30pm or 2pm and proceed to Osian by private car. You will first visit  the most famous temples (no guide provided) - Sachiya Mata Temple and then head out for the camel safari in Thar Desert. The major attraction for tourists visiting Osian is the native experience of the Camel Safari, one of the most spectacular and unique ways to experience Rajasthan. Camels are the ships of the deserts, and will guide you through the vibrant desert. You will spend approximately 1 hours in the Thar Desert and then enjoy the mesmerizing sunset. After your tour, you will be returned to your hotel in Jodhpur, Jodhpur Airport, Railway Station or Bus Station. Note : If Your Hotel In Old City Then We Pick Up From Our Office

Great adventure, great driver, Viru!

My 17 year old daughter and I loved this package. Our driver (Veru) picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the camp. We stopped at a Hindu temple and Viru jexplained everything. He made sure we were comfortable and safe. The jeep ride, camels, dinner and entertainment were fun! It was a great night! I highly recommend

Lovely desert safari in the evening

Desert safari was unique, we started in the afternoon and arrived at the Osian Desert around 3:00 pm. Our guide was waiting with 2 camels and the ride to his homestay was 45 mins. After meeting the family, we enjoyed a simple home cooked meal. After relaxing we started back during sunset which was beautiful!

Childhood emotions

I was so happy in this Oasian desert tour and had emotions like in childhood. Service were very good: we started clearly on time even early, car to Oasian were very comfortable and safe and driver very polite. In safari was really fun to drive on sand mountains with Punjabi music, it was a kind of external for me. Than camel, it was cute and clever animal. So good emotions. And also of course unusual nature and landscape that you won't see anywhere

Thoroughly enjoyed the Desert Camel Safari

We enjoyed the Desert camel Safari by Balaji. Driver came on time and took us to the place where Dhanaram ji met us with his two camels.It was a first time for us and the ride was almost 40 mins in desert flanked by small fields of mustard, wheat and red onion. After we arrived at Dhanaram’s homestay, we were greeted by his wide and 2 sons. There were 2 other your guests from Canada and we enjoyed a simple home cooked Rajasthani meal and masala chai. We left after 30 mins, just as the sun was beginning to set. Return on the camel was via shorter route and drive back to Jodhpur was 45 mins. A great afternoon ! Enjoyed the simplicity and kind hospitality of rural folks. The suns aged 20 and 15 were fluent in English having been in grade school and help their father in his camel safari business
