Overview

Safe Very Small Group Tour Spend a day with nature. Go to the countryside & board a native motor boat to cruise the lagoon and lunch at the beach.  Surrounded by palms, water hyacinths and native flora, this has been the location for Hollywood films such as The African Queen and Rambo. This tour is a must for nature lovers. Once at the beachfront you can enjoy a typical lunch and a domestic drink. After lunch, you can walk along the beach or just relax in a hammock. A guide can "make" or "brake" your tour, we are here to serve and we love it...

Great Tour, interesting sites, hands-on liberating baby turtles and a GREAT meal. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. A must do when visiting Acapulco!

Coyuca Lagoon and Turtle Farn

We had a wonderful time in this tour! Our guide ended up with just the two of us. I can’t remember his name but when he wasn’t giving tours he worked at a travel agency. He was very informative and told us much about the area. The boat ride up the lagoon was awesome and we enjoyed the wide variety of birds that we encountered. Our boat guide was a lady and she knew almost all the birds. We had a very authentic filling lunch at a waterside restaurant. We had red snapper, rice, black beans and sopas. It was very filling! The turtle preserve and farm was such a treat! We got to name and release our own turtles. The place is the real thing! We also stopped at several overlooks for photos. We highly recommend this excellent tour.

Roger was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. The tour was a lot of fun, there were 4 in our family ranging in age from 13-63 and everyone had a great time. You have the opportunity to swim in the river, so bring a suit! There is also a mud mask you can buy. I highly recommend this tour.
