Delve into the city’s history on a stroll around its alluring squares on this self-guided walking tour of Savannah. • See the first home of John Berendt, author of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, first lived when he came to Savannah and where the Girl Scouts got their start • Hear from producer Andrew Cotton, a History Major who now owns and operates a high end, private history tour company • Do it all in an hour or linger at stops along the way with complete control over when you start and finish • Get unlimited use before your booking date and after it • Use the virtual tour option at home Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive a ticket with instructions and a unique code listed under “Before You Go”. Then simply install the VoiceMap app and enter your code. The app displays directions to the starting point, and when you’re in the right place, just pop in your headphones and tap start. Savannah historic walk for Seniors!

The Bascilica. We also went for a drink at Pinky’s. Truly enjoyed the history that our “guide” included. Just the right amount!

Perfect pace for discovery. Like the flexibility to stop and return while listening. The app was a bit unstable and stopped a couple of times but was easy to get back on track. I lived in Savannah for years and learned things I didn’t know. Will take the first of the two-tour series another day!

The parts that were not specifically included in the tour. I really enjoyed going into the cathedral of St. John's Church. I also enjoyed an interior design shop we passed and getting drinks at the Arts Cafe.

Easy to follow, interesting history, worth doing in Savannah! The guide narration was clear and easy to understand. Nice tidbits too unrelated to history like a cool bookstore and restaurant. Very cool the way the gps links up with it.
