There are two Chinatowns, one that you see from a van or bus, and the one that can only be experienced on foot in the back alleys, food markets, and local restaurants. One Chinatown, the one from the bus, is interesting. Our Chinatown will surprise you with new adventures around every corner. In our Chinatown, artisans form Fortune Cookies by hand. In our Chinatown, artisans practice their craft in small alleys using techniques handed down for thousands of years. And in our Chinatown, the authentic cuisine will enliven your senses with new flavors, smells, and aromas. We'll explore exotic and unique Asian produce, herbs, and teas from the very people who know them best. We'll uncover their hidden secrets only intrepid locals know. And you'll be astonished by the new finds in secret alcoves. We'll spend about three hours eating everything from Dim Sum, fortune cookies, teas, and more.

Chinatown with Andres

All of the food tastings were wonderful. Andres, our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I don't eat mammals and he made sure that there was acceptable options for me.

Great tour with so many treats to eat. For some reason this tour was canceled and we were put into the tour of Chinatown and North Beach . Great experience. I loved the different foods provided. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the areas covered. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome walking tour with Ryan! Learned lots about the history of SF and Chinatown and enjoyed an interesting array of Chinese food. A great way to spend 3+ hours in SF. I highly recommend!

Wonderful day of light walking and trying new authentic flavors and able to see some of it handmade dim sum Ryan C was so helpful and informative not only the Chinatown spots and history but gave us who live on the east coast a dose of the San Fran city history - got to see a virtual city and bricks from the fore of 1906- excited to ha e learned some of the unique aspects of Chinatown -

Ryan c was top notch - Ryan was so quick and informative to lots of questions and very knowledgeable not just about Chinatown but SF as well for us out of townera - the food places were authentic quick service and delicious flavors and new things to try -
