Overview

Sit back and enjoy the sea air on-board the largest sailing catamaran in The Whitsundays. With capped capacity numbers, you can stretch out and relax as Camira sails through the Whitsunday Islands and takes you to the region’s most iconic locations. Hike to the Hill Inlet Lookout, leave footprints in the white silica sand, snorkel the fringing reef and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch with all-inclusive drinks • Sail through the Whitsunday Islands • Morning and afternoon tea • Delicious BBQ lunch, soft drinks and water • Beer, wine and cider from 10am • Snorkeling equipment and stinger suits • Guided walk to Hill Inlet and lookout (tidal dependent) Return coach transfers available from most Airlie Beach accommodation, Adults $13.00 & children $7.00.

Itinerary

  • Hill Inlet

    On a guided hike to Hill Inlet lookout, follow a path walked by the Whitsundays’ traditional owners, the Ngaro people. Back on the beach, swim and stroll along the shore before a BBQ lunch cooked and served on board. After lunch, you will head to one of the Whitsundays fringing reefs for some snorkelling before sailing back to shore.

    On Whitsunday Island’s east coast, Camira moors at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach, a 7km arc of dazzling white sand, regularly voted Australia’s best beach.

  • Boat is licensed to serve alcohol from 10am (or after snorkeling)
  • Bathroom available on the vessel
  • Bring Swimsuit and towel. Protective clothing, hat and sunscreen lotion, credit card for optional purchases
  • If you have a dietary requirement, please make yourself known to our crew and they will advise what should be avoided.
  • Please also note for any guests wanting to snorkel the fringing reef from Camira, you must have adequate swimming abilities as there are no flotation devices available.
  • Please advise dietary requirements via email or phone before travel
  • Please be advised that a moderate level of fitness and agility is recommended for this experience, which includes bushwalking, snorkelling, and climbing in and out of tenders. High temperatures and humidity are possible, especially in the summer months.

This trip is amazing!! The staff is what makes the trip so wonderful. This is the best experience we have ever booked for a day adventure. Again, the staff is the hidden gem of this adventure. The food and service was amazing and they chose the best spots for us to enjoy our day.

We were recommended this trip by a friend and I am so happy we found out about it. This was an incredible day! We are a family of 4 (2 x A & 2 x C). The boat departed on time and the crew were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food on board is plentiful, way more than we needed! Soft drinks, beer & wine is available all day (Alcohol available after snorkeling). The first stop was our snorkelling destination which was next to a beautiful island. The coral was colourful and there were all kinds of fish. The staff hang around in case anyone needs a break or to head back to the boat. My daughter was quite scared to start with so sat on the rubber dinghy until she felt ready to jump in. The staff member on the paddle board stayed with her so she could hang on until she felt ready to let go and explore. Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach is a must-do experience. The views from the lookout are spectacular. It's an easy enough walk up to the top - 10 mins or so. You have 2 hours to yourself to explore the lookout and head down to the beach for a swim. There were so many stingrays around and lemon sharks. It was amazing to see them in their natural habitat. We all agreed it was a fantastic day out on the water. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic day that I will remember forever. Great weather, loved the boat, snorkelling was fab, Whitehaven was incredible, team were very knowledgeable and professional. Would 100% recommend this trip!
