    This is like no other Mumbai food tour. This small-group culinary adventure takes you to the heart of the city's gastronomy. Treat your taste buds to 15+ tastings, as we experience three different districts. Your expert storytelling guide will bring the local food scene to life, whilst you discover the secrets of the city's flavours. Learn to eat like the locals with South Indian delicacies. Ride the iconic commuter train that keeps Mumbai moving. Discover why crispy papads tastes infinitely better grilled over charcoal. We'll enjoy street food specialities that have been feeding hungry locals for decades. We'll start at Chaayos cafe at Churchgate, near the Fort area, convenient to all the city's hotel and accommodation options. **Suitable for vegetarians & pescatarians.     We'll venture onto the famous commuter train, hopping on for a short 10 minute ride to experience the daily life for locals in the city. Trains are every 5 minutes, so you won't wait long, and don't worry we've got you covered for the ticket. Your local guide will expertly navigate you to our next stop. Bring your camera!

    Stepping off the train platform, you'll discover another side of the city that foreign visitors rarely venture to. Whilst you are mopping up slow-cooked kheema with freshly baked bread, we reveal the stories behind some of the last remaining Parsi communities in the city, dating back to the Persian families that moved to India over a century ago. Some tasty food awaits us in this district, as we continue to explore more of the street food scene.

    Next up is a stroll through the buzzing khau galli alleyways of Zaveri bazaar, paying homage to some legendary street food in the South of India. Skip lunch, because you're not going to want to pass on the crispy masala papads, the chutney-spiked pudla, cheese dripping dosas, the creamy moongdal halwa, among much more.

    This 15+ food tasting tour will gorge on everything from local chaat snacks to buttery aubergine curry and freshly baked chapati. We'll venture through the lively district of Mangaldas market to witness local life that visitors to Mumbai rarely get to experience. Mouthwatering Mumbai tour

A very fun and delicious tour - make sure you come hungry! Our guide Sunil was fantastic and funny, open to all questions and sharing lots of information about the food and life in Mumbai. We tasted so many different flavours and tried plenty of new things, always with the option to share or have more or less. We started at 4pm and as the evening went on we felt more that we were seeing the real Mumbai. Highly recommended. One for anyone interested in lunchboxes!

Great food tour

Vrushali is an amazing guide. For over four hours she took the eight person group to several stalls and restaurants for delicious and interesting Mumbai street food, places and dishes a visitor would be hard pressed to find on their own. Vrushali gave detailed descriptions of the dishes including their origins. I highly recommend this tour.

The evening walking food tour was a highlight of our visit to Mumbai. Our guide Sunil is a huge asset for the company. He is knowledgeable, fun and caring. And a good man. We learnt SO much about the street food scene from him. Warning: You WILL eat a lot so come hungry and don’t eat too much early on in the tour.

The tour was a great experience and totally exceeded expectations. Our guide Vrushali was excellent. We would highly recommended this tour as it gave very good insight to foods that we would probably would not have tried on our own. Unexpected was the general commentary on various history and landmarks.
