A fantastic day out! I booked some time in advance - the only thing I would say about this tour is that pre-communication made me unnecessarily anxious, they send you the ferry tickets the day before and Tripadvisor states they close at 6pm. I messaged a few days before numerous times over whatsapp and although I got read receipts, no response - the tickets came through at 6pm the day before, so although no one will answer you, you will get them don't worry!
Day of the your - superb. Pick up time was spot on, and the driver made it so easy to get on the ferry with instructions on where to go. The tour guide was amazing, she spoke great English, super informative and made everyone in the group get on with one another, and made it the day feel personal, fun and interactive. We visited every site listed and because there were some queues for the river due to it being a Philippine holiday, she got our ferry tickets changed to a later ferry back so we didn't have to rush and could relax. Our ferry was delayed coming back and the driver patiently waited on the other side for us. The tapirs were really cute, the chocolate hills were beautiful, and a highlight for me was the boat ride - you can get off and dance with the locals which I wasn't expecting and was so fun! This is a great way to see Bohol if you are short on time in the Philippines and I am so pleased I did this trip, it was definitely one of my favourite days out!
