Overview

On this 3 hour Walk we will discover some of the Modern Street Art, by International Street Artists, Belfast is now becoming known for. As we go into the West of the city to view some of the more controversial Political Murals. And hear how Northern Ireland is working with locals to create Peace. We will also see a project called re-imaging, which aims to put Street Art or Murals up that the local communities want to share with all that pass by.

Itinerary

  • Cathedral Quarter

    On this 2.5 to 3 hour walk we will discover some of the Modern Street Art, by International Street Artists, Belfast is now becoming known for. As we go into the West of the city to view some of the more controversial Political Murals. And hear how Northern Ireland is working with locals to create Peace. We will also see a project called re-imaging, which aims to put Street Art or Murals up that the local communities want to share all that pass by.

    Here we will view Loyalist Murals and local Street Art

    Here we will view Murals for causes all over the world.

    Well view the Peace Wall that seperates communities.

On a quiet Monday afternoon we were fortunate to be the only couple on the tour. Marti is an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. We walked around town then headed up to the Shankill road then over to the Falls road. He is also considerate of his audience as my partner had trouble walking and he stopped to let him rest. We found the tour very interesting and would definitely recommend this tour. He also does other tours which we will book on our next visit.
