On our Secret Food Tour: Bangkok, let our knowledgeable, local guides show you the best street stalls and food, and present a side of the city you're unlikely to find on your own. We'll introduce you to new flavors, expand your palate, and create an exceptional, authentic experience. While not all Thai food is spicy, you always have the option to make it spicy. Feast on spicy basil chicken served over jasmine rice, flavoursome Dim Sum, mouth-watering 'Issan-style' spicy grilled pork, juicy duck noodle soup, our secret dish and lots more! As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

Meeting points

We meet outside of the Hua Lamphong MRT Stations exit 3 Rong Muang Road. Always bring an umbrella as the weather is unpredictable. Our guide will be standing there to greet you with our orange Secret Food Tours umbrella so we are easy to spot !

Great tour with excellent guide

Jan is an excellent tour guide, super friendly, very knowledgeable about the food and culture. Her English is very good and easy to understand. We have done other street food tour on our time in Bangkok and they do not compare to the secret food tour with Jan. Good photos We Did not feel rushed Excellent food choices Very accommodating with our family and children. If you do this tour ask for Jan, she is a very good guide and made our experience very smooth and a night to remember.

Bangkok Private Food Tour with English Guide Jan was A+ Professional and Fun!

We booked a private tour with Secret Food tours and our guide was Jan. This is my 2nd time using Secret Food Tours (Previously in Seoul) and this tour was just as wonderful in Bangkok. This company is professional, prompt communication from booking with complete details where to meet. Our guide, Jan spoke perfect english, was energetic and very informative food guide. We tried not only Thai cuisine, but a mix of many unique asian foods. I asked a ton of questions about the culture and food of course, and Jan happily answered. I This tour included 10-12 stops with huge portions, and we were so full by the time the tour was over! Jan took a took tons of photos along the way for us, and provided the names of all the dishes we tried. I asked a few questions about Iced thai tea (which was not part of the tour) and Jan made a special stop to her favorite tea shop so I could try some (and get assistance ordering) + we even got hands on food prep at one stop to prepare a fresh papaya salad. Wow! **Tip- I recommend booking as early in advance. December is a very busy time and book up quickly. Especially private tours! Don't delay.

Great food tour of Bangkok Chinatown and a few cultural tidbits along the way! We tried so many stops and all were delicious. Definitely places we would not have tried on our own and all the food was cooked to order and there was no concern about it not being safe to eat. Jantira was a great tour guide and made sure everyone on the tour was comfortable and had items they could eat. Left full and happy!

Amazing tour with the highlight the Mango Salad. Jiab was an amazing tour guide offering a few extras on the way. Jain has great knowledge of the area and history. We will do it again but unfortunately we are leaving Bangkok for our next destination

A special kind of food walking tour with Jan

Meeting point MRT meeting point 2 p.m. Everyone was on time and Jan had water for everyone. Very attentive! We were 3 interested people who were looking forward to walking & food. Unfortunately, one participant was walking so slowly that walking was practically impossible! After the first food stop, the lady decided to take the tuk tuk to the next station. The group was totally torn and Jan did her best to accommodate everyone... that was a challenge! At the second station we didn't meet the woman again, even though Jan tried everything. Overall, it was a great food tour through Chinatown with 8 stops. So incredibly delicious, flavorful and authentic! Highly recommended and Jan was great! Thanks for the experience :-)
