If you are a Christian, or even just have an interest in religion and history, then this is a day trip you have to take.
We had a very informed guide called Dan who made us feel that we had been taken back in time, in Jerusalem. Although he had been brought up Jewish, he knew a lot about Christian tradition and history and made sure we had enough time in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Really could have done with spending a lot more time in Jerusalem but, still, it was interesting to go onto Bethlehem. One thing I would say is that there’s a lot of walking on this tour so be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
