Overview

When visiting Tromsø, exploring Kvaløya is a must do! Islands packed with raw landscapes, endless mountains, arctic beaches, to breathtaking fjords, and (frozen) lakes. Enjoy the ever changing landscapes, and be sure to look out for roaming wildlife. We have the possibilities to spot soaring sea eagles, native reindeers, and the elusive moose. There will be several scenic stops along the way, perfect for photo moments, which we will share with you after the trip. Upon reaching the archipelago islands, we will enjoy an organic homemade light picnic, and a warm drink. As we continue through the mountain valley, passing quaint fishing villages, and making a final stop at one of the most dramatic fjords on the island. Let us share our favourite places with you, sit back, relax, and breathe in the calmness and quietness of life in the Arctic. We had a cold and rainy day, but Tom, our guide, and his friend made it so much fun. We found seashells and our lunch sandwich was really good!

A fantastic tour of the scenic fjords around Tromso with Northern Soul Adventures. We opted to do this as a private tour as we travelled with our two small children (6&3) so it could be tailored to us and our needs. Justyna, our guide, was incredibly friendly towards our children and was great at sharing knowledge of the areas we visited in a child friendly way. Due to cold winds, Justyna tailored our trip to an area that was more enclosed, so less windy for the children, and we had the best experience. We saw stunning scenery, enjoyed an outdoor picnic with a delicious sandwich, warm drinks and biscuits. The children rolled around in the snow (literally), and we even got to build snowmen on the beach whilst it was snowing. It is an absolutely fantastic way to spend a day! I would 100% recommend this company for any Arctic adventure they offer. They are superb!

A super pleasant and not demanding trip around Tromsø till Sommarøy with multiple beautiful stops. Our guide Tom was lovely and took amazing professional pictures of us. Absoltely recommendable.
