    The Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center is located on the banks of the Chena River in downtown Fairbanks. Named after an Alaska native and political leader, this community center celebrates native Alaskan culture and natural history through interesting exhibits, indigenous art and tools and life-sized panoramas depicting Alaska’s wildlife and landscapes throughout the seasons.

Convenient and Relaxing Way to Explore Fairbanks

This tour was a great way to visit several key sightseeing spots in Fairbanks without the hassle of renting a car. Each stop, including the Museum of the North, offered ample time to explore and appreciate the unique attractions. The tour was great with a small group and good stopping points in Fairbanks. Greg was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and professional. We enjoyed all of the stops and the tour was exactly as described with plenty of time to enjoy and not feeling rushed.
