Overview

Exclusive Jet Ski Experience to Daydream Island. Embark on an exhilarating jet ski journey with our expert guide, as you take the reins of your own jet ski and travel to Daydream Island from Airlie Beach. This tour is conducted by professional, highly trained guides and the company holds Advanced Eco Certification, so you can book with confidence. All tours have a maximum of 6 guest jet skis so your experience will be personal and exclusive for you and your other travellers. Once on the island you can relax and enjoy the day with access to all island facilities, including pools, non-motorised water-sports and marine talk. After relaxing by the pool, or exploring the island, you will jump back on your jet ski and return to Airlie Beach.

Itinerary

  • Whitsunday Islands

    During your epic jet ski adventure journeying from Airlie Beach to Daydream Island you will enjoy a scenic tour along the beautiful Airlie Beach Coastline, while riding your own jet ski. In total you will enjoy approximately 1 hour on the jet ski. Each day is slightly different and dependent on the weather, and guest numbers on the tour. During the tour you might spot some marine life, including turtles and dolphins, and in the cooler months of May to September, if you are lucky you might sight a hump back whale while on tour. No licence or experience is required as you are given a full safety briefing and induction on the jet ski. However, this is an action packed tour in open water, so moderate fitness and a great sense of adventure is 100% required!

  • Daydream Island Living Reef

    You will disembark your jet ski at Daydream Island. You can enjoy the free activities on Daydream Island, including non-motorised watersports and pool areas. You can also join the free daily reef presentation at the Living Reef. You will be at Daydream Island for between 6-7 hours and this is dependent on weather conditions and number of guests on the tour.

    Our experienced guide will meet you at the meeting point and conduct a thorough briefing and induction prior to the tour commencement. Tour details are as follows: Minimum driver age 16 and passenger age 12 Riders must be able to swim 100m, speak English & be confident in open water Your guided island escape jet ski journey includes: A thrilling 30 minute jet ski tour to Daydream Island, sightseeing along the way and a 30 minute jet ski ride return to Airlie Beach Use of Daydream Island pools and facilities A thorough safety briefing All the necessary safety equipment for your adventure Tour departs Airlie Beach at 8:30am and returns at approximately 3:30 - 5:00pm *Tour times might vary due to weather conditions and guest numbers

Thrilling Jetski Adventure and Relaxing Day at Daydream Island

I had an incredible time and want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Ocean Dynamics team for their outstanding effort in making this trip truly memorable. On December 24th, I joined their Jetski tour from Airlie Beach to Daydream Island, and it was an unforgettable experience filled with fun and excitement. The tour lasted about two hours in total on the Jetski—one hour to get to Daydream Island and one hour to return. The rest of the time, we enjoyed the island, taking full advantage of the resort's facilities. These included non-motorized water sports and a beautiful swimming pool. To top it off, they also provided $25 per person to spend at the island's restaurant, which added a wonderful touch to the day.

Daydream Island and Whitehaven Beach Private Charter Ocean Dynamics

We recently went on the Ocean Dynamics private charter boat to daydream island. Plenty of food and beverages available. We took our 10 week old baby along and they were very accommodating for her. Can't believe how easy it was to take our baby along with us on what we thought would be a mission. The boat trip to Whitehaven beach was spectacular. Since it was a private charter we had the entire beach to ourselves, basically. Untrodden sand on the beach and spectacular views from the lookout. We even had the opportunity to go snorkeling which was like nothing I have experienced before. I am not a great swimmer but they gave me a life jacket and took exceptional care for me to ensure I could experience the amazing coral and sea life. The boat crew were exceptional and friendly. Catering for all our needs, taking finished plates from our hands and kitting us up with the right snorkeling gear to ensure a smooth experience. They taught us a neat little trick to keep the fog out of the goggles and the instructor was explaining everything as we went as a group. Definitely one of the best holidays I've been on in Australia and I've lived here all my life. I've also travelled the world; however, this is a comparable experience so close to home.
