Overview

Explore Tulum Ruins, Coba Ruins, Cenote and the popular Quinta Avenida of Playa del Carmen in this fantastic tour. The greatest attraction at the Tulum Ruins is its location. Built on a bluff facing the rising sun, this ruin site is the only Maya settlement located on the beaches of the Caribbean. Archaeologists believe Cobá was one of the most important ruin sites on the Yucatan Peninsula. The design and purpose of this settlement was very different from other Mayan cities, with various settlements existing in one area. The sacred cenote is an important place according to the Mayan beliefs, come and enjoy this wonderful place. The cenote you will visit may vary according to availability, avoiding crowded places. When visiting you must see 5th Avenue Playa Del Carmen or “Quinta”. This street runs parallel to the beach and has the bulk of tourist attractions including shops, restaurants, and street entertainment.

Absolutely loved it

Published on Aug, 2022

This was such a great trip, we had 2 children with us and they loved it too! The staff on board were great and so knowledgeable. We paid for the diamond tour and would recommend the upgrade, it meant you got drinks on board the coach, the life vest at the cenote and a drink at lunch all included so it was much easier knowing everything was already included, all you then need money for is some tips and souvenirs At coba we took the taxi/tuk tuks up to the Ixmoja pyramid which was only 150 pesos for both ways, it saved alot of time and meant we got to see more of the ruins as the stopped along the way, plus they gave you little bits of information about the ruins too The cenote was fantastic, so refreshing after walking around tulum, getting in and out of the cenote was easy too as it had wooden steps to get in and out, the food at lunch was lovely too! All in all this was a fantastic trip and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the cancun/riviera maya area!

Amazing guides! Very friendly and informative. All guides were very knowledgeable and super helpful and available.

A must do!

What a fun day we had! Highly recommend. When you go to the Coba Ruins you have to take the bike that the people drive you to see the ruins. There's no way you'll have time to see everything. So much to see in one day!

Amazing day

A day full of fun, we learned so much about the mayan history. You won't regret it. Worth every penny!

Don't walk, ride the rikshaw/bike at Coba!!

Published on Nov, 2020

My family and I went on this tour and we had Augustine and Carlos as our tour guides. They did an amazing job!! I highly recommend both of these men. The only thing I wish we could have done more of was had more time at Tulum. Maybe have Augustine and Carlos tell us different things on the bus ride with pictures of what everything is and then when we got there gone exploring. NOW Coba, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take my word on this and get a rikshaw or bicycle. DO NOT think you can do it by walking in the time the tour gives you. You can not do it. We are fast walkers and we didn't even get to the end before we had to get a rikshaw for the ride back because we had to leave. GET A BIKE!! Also this will help with time to explore some and take pictures because it is really breathtaking. The cenote we went to was neat because it looked like it was down in a cave and it was really fun for our first one to see. Playa del Carmen could have been left off to give more time to the other places. We really only went 4 blocks and had to turn around because we were running out of time. So that is my only other suggestion. Cut some of the spots out and give more time at the others.
