Vish was our guide around Sri Lanka for the first week of April. It’s difficult to describe just how brilliant he was. From the moment he picked us up we knew it would be a fun and stress free week. My wife and I were travelling with our two children aged 11 and 8. From the start he made it clear his priority was to ensure we all felt safe and all enjoyed our experiences as much as possible. Over the week we visited Temples, climbed the Sigiriya Lion Rock for sunrise, did safaris, boat trips, visited tea plantations, spice and gem museums, did a train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella, visited waterfalls, viewpoints and the Nine Arch Bridge. Vish coordinated everything brilliantly. He was so knowledgeable answering all our questions and giving us so much information about this wonderful country including its heritage and customs. We were really able to relax and enjoy all our experiences knowing we were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble from helping us exchange money, helping our daughter find a ball, buying train tickets, finding amazing lunch stops, even switching things around to accommodate us and the weather. Over the week Vish went from being our guide to being our friend. Had we known beforehand how good he would be we would have extended our adventures by another week. Saying goodbye was horrible, especially for our kids. Vish is immensely polite, helpful, knowledgeable, funny, kind, caring and many other wonderful things that make him the perfect guide and representative for this amazing country. We have already recommended him to several people and will definitely be coming back so he can show us the parts of the country we didn’t get to!
Vish - thank you again. You really made it an unforgettable experience and one we will cherish forever.
