The trip was very organized, bus took us to Interlaken from Zurich then the instructor; Mr. West took us from there to get our clothes and equipments which were all included in the package. Everything was perfect, West is amazing! He is very skilled and friendly. It is the perfect experience for a family with no previous experience in skiing.
Paul.. our guide was very knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about Switzerland, Geneva and chocolate . It was a small friendly group and had plenty of time for tasting and learning about the history of Geneva and chocolate. The chocolates we tried were amazing! Would recommend to any chocoholics.
Would never use again. Transfer on the way arrival in Geneva, we had to wait 2 hours for the transfer and the only option on the way back was to be dropped to the airport 4 hours before our flight. The ‘estimated’ time could be any time. Ours were both over an hour away from the time booked. One good thing I would say is the driver was great and dropped us directly to our hotel rather than the stop that was booked.
I did the tour through "GoGetYourGuide" which was a day trip Zurich: Engelbergm, Titlis and Lucerne Day Tour. The duration is 11 hours and our guide was informative and very helpful. We had a bus trip from Zurich with beautiful views along the way. The guide was our driver and very safe. He provided key places to visit in Lucerne. We visited the town of Engelberg, and took the rotating cable car to the Peak of Mount Titlis. There is an icecave which is amazing and part of the tour. The Cliff walk is a suspension bridge on the peak. It was a blizzard when our group was up at the summit so wear warm clothes. You can take a break and have lunch at the cafe at the top. they have a good selection of food and drinks. They also have sledding and tubing available which is very fun and I highly recommend it toward the end of your stay at Titlis. The sun did come out later while we were there but the clouds were there most of the day. It was still a lot of fun.
We had the most amazing experience with Diana from Detours Zürich on the Ethical Chocolate Tour! Diana is not only incredibly knowledgeable about chocolate history but also deeply passionate about ethical practices in the industry. The tour was perfectly curated, blending fascinating insights with delicious tastings at local chocolate makers who truly care about sustainability. Diana’s energy and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. If you’re a chocolate lover or just want to explore Zurich in a unique and meaningful way, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommend!
Train ride up was beautiful, the weather at the top was heavy snow & wind so that limited the ability to enjoy the experience. The interactive display was okay, did not justify the additional cost of the ticket. Would recommend not pre-purchasing tickets so that you can choose a day where the weather is more cooperative.
One of the highlights of our day was wandering through the historic Hinterdorfstrasse. The picturesque wooden edifices and vivid flowers peeking from window boxes. This tour through Zermatt was an experience that interlaces history with the breathtaking beauty of nature. We enjoyed it.
There was so much lack of information in all aspects. We were told to be at 14:00 down the cable (aguille du midi) ,we arrived at 14:05 and the guide was not waiting for us ( the cables timetables may vary during the day due to weather conditions). We were lost and nobody cared. We managed to get to next point and we weren’t able to see the glacier. That was unacceptable. I do not recommend this trip to anybody, it was a waste of time. Chris the guide didn’t care about us or anybody in the group.
Wasn’t sure what to do in Interlarken for our first full day and decided to do the bike tour- best decision! What a way to see the city! We absolutely loved it- guide/owner Tommy was a great host, super knowledgeable and so friendly! Was a true highlight of our European holiday and we loved every minute- views and routes were amazing and a lovely end with a hot choccy by the lake- couldn’t fault our day! If you’re undecided what to do or unsure if you should book- DO IT! It’s a must! Thanks for having us!
