Confidence and his partner Alex were fantastic during my trip to Nigeria, Benin, Togo, and Ghana. They are professionals who know the area and the itineraries very well. They made the trip virtually hassle free, I'd highly recommend them and I look forward to returning in the future to explore the area more in depth!
Bright has been an amazing guide ! He took me on the places I chose and facilitated everything. Besides, he was able to explain me a lot of things about Lagos and the Nigeria so that, at the end of the day, I felt it was much more than a couple of touristic visits but a genuine experience !

I had such a icredible time, great job to our tour guide, Victoria and our driver, Ade, who were so professional, so kind. The tour was incredible to visit all 3 markets. So many opportunities to purchase authentic and personal souvenirs for yourself and friends and family, highly recommend. I felt extremely safe with my tour guides. As we navigated the busy markets, I was able to find everything on my list and more, and it was just such a lovely time. Make sure you have enough currency on you and don't be shy to bargain it's so fun and expected.
When travelling to a city with a somewhat dubious (but unwarranted) reputation like Lagos, you want to deal with a company that is reliable and responsive. That is Ucomeafrik. Confidence Aguiyi responded promptly to all my questions, helped me with my visa application, arranged airport pick up, and organized a full day tour of Lagos. Vincent was my tour guide and he did an excellent job, tailoring the tour to my interests and providing detailed information about the city and it's culture. I'm very glad that I chose to go with Ucomeafrik.
I purchased "Abuja City Tours" but when I got my tickets it says I was getting the Culinary Experience. I wrote to the host that I was not interested in the Culinary Experience since I was born & grew up in Nigeria, know the food culture very well. He suggested I go back to original booking and request Abuja City Tours. I did not understand this as that was what I originally book for. This communication went on back & forth after midnight I was tired & fed up so caved in & wrote back to the Tour Operator that I will take the Culinary Experience but still not what I wanted. I subsequently leaned that Motley Travels Logistics Ltd can provide me with the Abuja City Tours for $200.00, so I purchased the tours from Motley Travels Logistics Ltd for Thirty Thousand Naira which was the nigeria equivalent of $200.00 at that time. I will like Viator to refund me the $140.00 they billed my credit card on 2/17/25 since they did not provide me with the tour I wanted.
I know that there isn’t much info online regards to these countries, but I found them and from the start our communications information was clear, logistics very structured and reliable, its local owned company handling all activities, but I don’t think i wouldn’t have made it I didn’t hire them, I think if you plan to come over solo most definitely Ghana it’s your choice, but you will need assistance crossing borders and my guides Nana, Jena Paul and Victoria handled me over in every country to the next guide like a queen, they took very good care of me I will be always grateful! I cannot wait to be back. I’m planing already the remaining countries left.
As the official first participant of this tour, I can say I experienced the city fully, as Lade has been doing this (unofficially) for years. She made sure I was comfortable all through, and was able to adjust to any unforeseen circumstance as needed. She was also my official photographer for the day, and that’s an automatic five stars in my book!
This was a great tour and very informative. Benita and the driver were friendly and helpful. Then I had local guides as well, in Badagry. Afterwards, Benita sent me loads of photos that she'd taken. The tour was professional and well-planned. I can definitely recommend this company
We cancelled the beach, however the Art museum was wonderful; so many pieces to choose from. Enjoyed going to the market where we had the opportunity to purchase items such as canvas paintings and clothing for great prices. You must visits the music museum that highlights one of Nigeria’s famous singer and activist
Boma is a friendly and responsive guide, who was on time, flexible and easy to work with. She works with a good and safe driver, in an air conditioned Camry. We did the city tour on Saturday, and added stops without a problem. Then on Sunday went north to see the Olumo Rock.
This company I really appreciated how they was there for me beyond just a shuttle drive. The guy was really helpful and his team moved to get the job done quickly and correctly. They are friendly and nice Nigerian. They made me comfortable and feel safe. I appreciate all that was done for me. I needed help getting my passport approved and this company made it possible for me to board the plane. He stayed in contact with me and help to make sure I didn't lose my reservation. I am grateful for the work that was done.
Not worth it. The village was cool and I would have loved to stay there longer - an hour is not enough time. The wine tasting wasn’t worth it. They drove us to the vineyard and the winemaker was late so we just sat in the van for a bit. The winemaker talked at us for well over an hour and we only tried five wines - the amount was less than a thimble…it was wild how little wine we were given. The tour started way too late in the day which meant when we were done we sat in rush hour traffic on our way back.
I recently did a one-day city tour in Abuja with Samap Travel and Tours during my transit. The owner was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, especially with securing my visa on arrival. The city tour was interesting, and I highly recommend the Discovery Museum—it’s one of the most modern museums I’ve visited in Africa. Overall, the experience was smooth and enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend Samap Travel for anyone visiting Abuja.
