What a remarkable experience! From the moment you arrive and enter, you will be amazed at the beauty and architectural structure of this museum. The exhibits are beautifully created and definitely honour the work. There are several framed windows that are in and of themselves 'art' displays. So beautiful. We were impressed by the work we saw, completed by artists we were unfamiliar with prior to our visit. This museum is set in a beautiful area of Luxembourg - a woodland area. It's definitely worth including on a visit to Luxembourg!
We have done many "Free" Walking Tours, all over the world and we really enjoyed this one. I'm sorry, I can't quite remember the guide's name (Carolyn???) (she was South African), but she was very good. She spoke of the history of Luxembourg, which was interesting, as well as sharing many interesting snippets about the city. eg The number of languages local children learn (also less interesting, but important, the location of various free public toilets!). If you want to learn a bit about Luxembourg, I would recommend this walk :)
During our recent tour of Luxembourg, we were fortunate to have an exceptional guide Alma, who made the experience truly memorable. Her thorough knowledge of the city's history and culture enriched our understanding as we explored its charming streets and landmarks. Alma ensured our comfort by providing water, a thoughtful touch that was much appreciated. What stood out most was her willingness to go beyond the standard itinerary, taking us to a hidden gem not typically included in her tours. This unexpected detour offered a unique perspective of Luxembourg and highlighted her dedication to providing a personalized and enriching experience. We are extremely grateful for her attentiveness and the unforgettable memories she helped create.
Beautiful place We only stopped there as a last minute stop off on a motorcycle tour of Europe, and was shocked at how beautiful it was really pretty. It’s not somewhere to go for a two week holiday as it’s tiny. I would say 3-4 days on one trip will do it We are heading back with the misses this year in July as they can’t miss out on the little gem.
