It was an amazing day, filled with wonderful emotions! Our driver and guide, Sten, was very polite, friendly, and funny☺️. Everything was excellently organized! The information was useful, entertaining and comprehensive. Sten made this trip even better! I definitely recommend not only the trip but also the trip with Sten! Thank you ☺️!!!!
Diana gave my group of four a three-hour walking tour around Copenhagen. The tour was simply outstanding, covering a wealth of history, culture, and significant landmarks. Diana's extensive knowledge and passion for the city truly shone through. I was initially worried that three hours would be too much walking, especially in chilly February, but I was pleasantly surprised that the pace was just right and there were opportunities to sit, enjoy coffee and treats, and take bathroom breaks. One of the highlights was visiting the King's residence, Amalienborg Palace. Standing in the courtyard, we witnessed the changing of the Royal Guard, which was absolutely mesmerizing. Another unforgettable stop was at the Royal Stables, where the majestic horses are walked. It's a rare treat to see such grandeur up close. Diana, an expat American who has lived in Denmark for several years, is absolutely brilliant. Her ability to remember detailed history and her mastery of the Danish language is truly impressive. My spouse appreciated that Diana was American, so we could communicate easily, and she provided unique insights into the nuances of Danish culture from an American perspective. Diana was also incredibly helpful in directing us to the famous hotdog stand frequented by President Bill Clinton during his visit and even texted me follow-up information about some of my questions and comments. I was surprised that there were two other people on the tour since I thought it was a private, customizable tour. Fortunately, the other people were lovely. I booked the tour through GetYourGuide, which didn't have customization options, even though the tour was supposed to be customized.
I think that this was the best guided tour I've ever taken. It was really funny but we actually saw and learned a lot about Copenhagen and Denmark. Would definitely recommend our amazing tour guide #CocoConrad. He was the really amazing and interesting to listen, such positive and energetic refreshment (even if he is a ginger ( ; )
This afternoon we visited the museum The Tube, and it was a great experience. The staff was very nice to us. It has some really cool areas for taking photos, and in one of them, a staff member helped us so that my partner and I could both be in the picture. Time flies there, and each room reveals something different, making it highly recommended.
Amazing, great experience!! Well worth the visit. We booked beforehand but was not too busy, firstly we had a sample of lager, the lead through to the tour which was a self-tour but the video's prompted you to move on. Great interactive fun and then recorded this on your wristband to view on the internet later. Best section for me was the Liverpool FC affiliation !! my team of course. Ended with a free pint of beer and opted for the Carlsberg 1883 (best I thought) Shop at the end with a whole host of branded items you can buy They even had the horses there that tow the carts.. Definitely worth the visit !!!
Coming from the UK, the 96hr card was £120 and it's already saved us money. It's so simple to buy and the app is really user friendly and doesn't even need data. On transport you literally just get on and show the QR code if asked. At attractions you just show it at the ticket office and off you go! It's an absolute must and really does save money!
