Overview

You'll have an amazing awakening experience in the reserve of Xochimilco. Finding your soul sunrise. letting all your senses be awake and absorbe the beauty of the true Tenochtitlan.

Itinerary

We will leave from Vitalí Spa at 5:10am and we will take you to the wonderful Xochimilco´s lake, fields of flowers. We will ride in a trajinera and it will take us through the most preserved channels of the lake where we will watch the sunrise and listen to nature awakening. The trajinera will take us to the Chinampa where we will enjoy a body awakening experience and a meditation session. Afterwards, a guide will take us to an organic orchard and explain to us the ancestral techniques of cultivations and why it is a world heritage site. When we come back from the orchard we´ll experience the delicious taste of traditional Mexican food made by Don Francisco.

Stunning experience with a wonderful host

One of our best experiences in Mexico City. While the weather is cold and you do have to wake up early - Alberto does EVERYTHING to make this enjoyable. He provided us with a warm scented wrap to put around our necks. On the drive there he gave us a little intro to himself, his family and a short history lesson on Mexico City. We canoed through the canals along with a guide that was a botanist who explained everything in great detail in English. We watched the sunrise, and the beautiful mist over the water disappear. Then enjoyed a coffee, learned about the Chinampas, Alberto guided us through a meditation and we ate a simple farm breakfast. It was simple, educational, peaceful and such an amazing place/experience. Alberto was such a genuine person and was a really great host to us. We would strongly recommend him and this tour for anyone that wants to see a different side to Mexico City.

This was an awesome tour highlighting nature, Mexican history, food, meditation, and yoga. A very unique experience. Marcos was a great guide - friendly, helpful, and highly informative. Wonderful experience - our guides were really nice, and we loved the food, all the explanations and the sound meditation. Worth waking up at 4:30 for!

Overall this was a great experience! Constanza was very sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole trip. She did a great job coordinating everything! Marcos was also great, he knew a lot about the nature and animals around us. He was also genuinely very nice. The yoga was great! I don’t speak very much Spanish, but just to make sure I knew what she was saying Constanza would say some things in English. She also finished the yoga seamlessly with a meditation that was so peaceful it almost put me to sleep. Lovely! I highly recommend this trip.
