I love a good via ferrata experience and this certainly was one. If you've never tried it and have an adventurous spirit, give it a go. If you have tried others, this stacks up nicely. I've done a couple in the Swiss Alps where they are super popular and I would consider this a K3 (difficult) on the Husler scale which goes to K6. Some of the popular Swiss routes include some really interesting features like cable bridges, twisting ladders, tyrolean traverses, and zip lines. This route doesn't feature stuff like that, at least not yet. It would really be cool if they expanded their operation so that it did. Another difference is that most Swiss routes are typically unguided, but that is just not an option here. Our guide, Jess, was great. She shared some local wisdom and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable in their surroundings. I would highly recommend this adventure.
