Overview

We offer you an unforgettable experience to learn first-hand every detail about the production of the best Iberian ham. We will tell you in detail how it evolves during the 4 years of curing and maturation in our drying rooms and cellars. In addition, you can taste our 100% Iberian ham and discover the nuances and sensations it transmits.

Meeting points

From Salamanca it only takes 10-12 minutes by car from the city center, plus parking is free and is right at the entrance of our facilities. You also have the option of using the taxi or public bus service (line 33-36 from Gran Vía).

Itinerary

*Masterclass on Iberian ham: origin, classification and preparation. *Visit to the winery and drying rooms. *Tasting of our 100% Iberian Bellota Ham and our traditional sausage. All accompanied by a glass of wine from the Sierra de Salamanca. *For a modest price choose the Iberian Flavor Experience and after the visit you will be able to delve much deeper into Iberian gastronomy in a lunch of 8 Iberian bites prepared by our chef. Includes water, bread and coffee.

An absolute must!!

Absolutely brilliant event. We started with the factory tour and Michel was our guide. Fascinating insight into the production of jamon and other inberico products. Followed by a tasting and an exquisite lunch put together by Javier and Robert. Cannot recommend this tour more highly.

It was fascinating to learn about the iberian pig and processes. The tasting was good to experience the flavours of the various cuts and qualities of meat. Despite the tour operator booking me alone when the minimum is two people I was acomafated by the company which is a credit to the company and excellent customer service...

The Ham (Jamon) Factory was a terrific experience for our group of about 20. The factory was remarkable in its care for quality and cleanliness. Migel was our tour guide and he did an excellent tour, presentation, and handling Q&A. We all loved the tour and learned a lot from it.

Excellent value tour for Jamon production

The review begins with a brief introduction to Jamon iberico production, proceeds to a fairly extensive factory tour and ends with a tasting. The staff was kind enough to take me on thr tour e even though, in reality the minimum group size is 2. Given the length of the tour and the Jamon you get at the end, this is an excellent value. We were reluctant to do this tour and we ended up being really happy we did it! Our guide Miguel was informative, enthusiastic, and patient with all our questions. All the employees we met were welcoming and friendly. We learnt about the very long process of curing ham, the different grades, and what to look for when buying in stores or ordering in restaurants. The end of the tour was a wonderful tasting of different ham products. It was all a pleasant surprise.
