Overview

In this walk through the Center of Tulum you will taste tacos with stews from the Mayan and traditional Mexican cuisine, you will also know their ingredients and preparation, in addition to touring the streets of Tulum we will talk about its history, culture and attractions. The start time in the morning is at 10:00 a.m. and in the afternoon at 5:30 p.m. with an approximate duration of 2.5 hours each. The meeting point is at the corner of Av. Satélite and Av Tulum in downtown Tulum. We will visit 3 points, unique places to taste food from the Mayan and traditional Mexican cuisine; in some of them you can talk to the people who prepare these dishes. We recommend you bring a good appetite and of course, leave a little space for the best dessert in Tulum. During the walking tour we will visit streets with murals and places of interest for those who visit this town full of life and color everywhere.

This was by far the best tour we booked in Tulum. Our guide was passionate about the culture and history of this city and he showed us some great places we wouldn’t have found on our own. Absolutely recommend!!

Worth the Walk

Faustino was wonderful. We really enjoyed our walk, our conversation, and the food. It was nice to be off-the-beaten path (away from the main street) to experience some of the smaller local restaurants and learn about the different types of tacos that are available in Tulum. Faustino also walked us around to see some of the incredible murals throughout the area. It was a great way to orient ourselves to the town on our first day. Totally worth it.

Great day out with Faustino trying all the tacos of Tulum. He was able to show us the best spots to eat, and key spots of Tulum. Would recommend as an intro to get your bearings in Tulum Centro. We also asked him about all things Mexican culture and he was able to answer our queries with a local perspective.

Authentic experience, went to 3 different taco joints and an ice cream parlor, all were filled with locals, great experience trying different styles of tacos, Faustino did a great job explaining origin and different types of tacos as well as recommending which ones to try and which toppings go with what. Highly recommend.
